Here is the first official photo of our gun signing Tom Wright in Manly Warringah Sea Eagles colours.

It is a photo many NRL and rugby union clubs won’t like seeing as Wright was hot property.

However the 18-year-old St Joseph’s College first XV rugby star five-eighth signed a three-year deal last Tuesday in a massive coup for the Sea Eagles’ revamped recruitment team.

He will join the NRL pre-season squad in November.

“Tom is arguably the most exciting schoolboy rugby prospect in Australia,’’ said Sea Eagles CEO Joe Kelly.

“He can play several positions but predominately is a five-eighth.

“We are extremely pleased to have secured Tom’s services. He will no doubt excite Sea Eagles fans with his skills, speed and footwork.”

Welcome to the mighty Sea Eagles Tom!
