Manly Warringah will be looking to secure fourth place on the Holden Cup ladder against the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks at Brookvale Oval this Sunday.

The Sea Eagles sit in fourth place on 20 points with the eighth placed Canberra just two points behind. The Sharks are in 10th place on 16 points.

Coach David Heath was very pleased after the Sea Eagles turned in their best performance of the season last Friday night in crushing South Sydney 38-12.

Heath will be without prop Liam Knight and forward/centre Addison Demetriou for the Sharks game after they were selected in the NSW team to play Qld in the U20s match before the third State of Origin match next Wednesday night.

Knight has been in strong form up front all season and has a very high work rate.

A strong running forward, Demetriou has shown his versatility in recent weeks by playing in the centres for the Sea Eagles where he has scored several tries. He turned in a man-of-the-match performance in destroying Souths last week.

The Sharks head into the match on the back of a thumping 56-10 loss to second-placed Nth Queensland.

Holden Cup kick-off is 1.45pm.
