Geoff Toovey spoke to the media today to express his delight over the re-signing of local trio Jake Trbojevic, Clinton Gutherson and Tom Trbojevic.

"I think it's an exciting time for them and we look forward to seeing them in the first grade team for many years to come. Manly has got a long tradition of producing and maintaining first grade players at the club but also on the representative level as well, and I believe the three alongside me here, have got bright futures in both areas,” Toovey said.

“I’m very proud as a coach to see these three local juniors come through and I think they have the potential to be future representative players.”

The coach also talked about potential recruitments and also shed some light on the Sea Eagles casualty ward.

“We will possibly see Jamie Lyon, Josh Starling and Feleti Mateo coming back against the Knights so there’s three quality players that we are hopeful will make a return to the side.”

“But on the back of that we have been dealt a huge blow with Jamie Buhrer, who has unfortunately been ruled out for the rest of the season.”
