Jamie Buhrer was with media today to discuss Manly's round four clash against the Dragons and the heritage jersey they will be donning at Win Stadium on Saturday night.
Buhrer was quick to point out the Dragons' come from behind win against Canberra last week, and stated that Manly will be facing a tough fight against an improving team.
"Definitely, they have been improving every week, as I think we have. Last week they stormed back to win that one late and we're going to have are work cut out for us down there." Buhrer stressed.
The young second rower who has been in good form since returning from injury back in round 2 underlined the need for more effort and better execution for this week’s game.
"We didn't execute well enough, we dropped to much ball. The opportunities were there for us and we didn't take it."
The round four clash will see Manly putting on an early nineteen sixties jersey, which Buhrer is looking forward to playing in and he is hoping it will bring more fortune than last years much loved Pepsi jersey.
"Yeah, it's a good strip, we love playing in these heritage jerseys, we know the club has proud pasts and we love wearing these jerseys for the fans."
"I loved the Pepsi one last year, it was a good strip but we couldn't seem to win in it. So hopefully we can change that around this year so every time we wear this one we can get a win." Buhrer said.
