The Match Review Committee has handed front-rower James Hasson with a Grade Two - Dangeorus Contact charge after his hit up on former team mate, Anthony Watmough on Friday night.

The collision came with the first hit up of the second half and will see the Irish international miss at least three matches due to carry-over points.

Should Hasson fight the charge and get the charge downgraded, he is still likely to sit out the next two matches, both of which are at Brookvale Oval.

Working in Hasson's favour though is former team mate Anthony Watmough coming to his defense in a post-match interview.

"Hass is a good mate of mine. I know there was no mallice in it," Watmough said.
