On a wet and muddy night in Brookvale, the Sea Eagles scored five tries to two.  It was an impressive attacking display in slippery conditions from Geoff Toovey’s men.

Fullback Brett Stewart starred as he bagged a double to help his side comprehensively defeat the Bulldogs 32-10.

 

General statistics 

Manly Fullback Brett Stewart will play his 200th first grade game for Manly this week.

Since their last meeting in round 17 the Sea Eagles have won six from their last ten matches. The Bulldogs have only won four from ten matches.

Canterbury’s Des Hasler has got one up on Sea Eagles coach Geoff Toovey, winning four games to three since leaving to Belmore at the start of the 2012 season.

The last time these two sides met at this venue was the 1995 ARL Grand Final when the then Sydney Bulldogs defeated the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles 17 points to 4 in front of a strong 41,127 crowd.
