Sea Eagles front rower Brenton Lawrence hasn’t given up on his dream to play Origin, signalling his intentions ahead of game one in Brisbane in two weeks time.
“Of course I’m hopeful,” Lawrence said. “Everybody wants to play Origin. I can’t imagine anybody who wouldn’t want to play for their state if eligible, and I’m no difference.”
