The Manly Warringah Sea Eagles will today be at the Harbord Diggers for our official fan day - 80 Evans St, Freshwater NSW 2096.

Fans, locals and members will have the opportunity to meet the players, get an autograph, fan photo and participate in rugby league drills that will be run throughout the afternoon. There will also be family entertainment including a jumping castle, face painting and live music.

Harbord Diggers has long been a supporter of the NRL club and have enjoyed a close association with the Sea Eagles that dates back to 1947, when one of the Diggers’ members played in the first ever Manly team and when they entered the NSW Rugby League in maroon and white - the colours of Freshwater Surf Club.

With a long and fruitful history between the two clubs, this event marks part of the increased support that Harbord Diggers has contributed to the team this year, which has also seen their sponsorship include the naming rights to the Brookvale Oval Family Hill.

“Born and bred in Manly, Steve is an ambassador for the Sea Eagles and we are delighted to have Steve as our official emcee. He will be speaking with players and sharing his love of rugby league, the local area and of course our local team.”
