New recruit Josh Starling and Irish international James Hasson spoke with the media this week about how their preseason has been going, as well as the goals they have set themselves for season 2014.

They also chatted about how the loss of some of our more experienced forwards at the end of last season open the door for both of them to make their mark in the top side this season.

"There's a lot of opportunity for us young boys who have come here and we're all ready to step up hopefully and take the next step." Starling said.

"It's everyone's aim in the whole squad, to get a play in round one. So if that comes, it will be a good start."

Hasson pulled on the jersey 11 times last season in his debut season at the club, and he is looking to add to that again from the first whistle.

"I'm looking to cement a spot in the 17, hopefully for round one. We've lost a few quality props so looking to get one of those spots." Hasson said.

“We’re all about hard work here – week in, week out –just getting the job done.”
