The 2nd Annual Jason Annear Memorial Sevens took place over the weekend, with a team of young Sea Eagles taking part.

They unfortunately went down in the Semi Final, however it was fitting that the team bowed out against Jason's former club, Berkley Vale.

They day kicked off nice and early, with each team entertaining the crowd with some sensational tries and displays of immense skill and physicality.

"The players were remarkable in the way they came togther to play some entertaining rugby league for such a great day," Sea Eagles coach Luke Williamson said.

"Despite not being able to defend our title from last year, we love coming to play out here in memory of Jason."

The final was won by Wyong Roos, who defeated Berkley Vale to take the title.
