Fresh from the Christmas break, the Sea Eagles have returned to the fire of pre-season training with everyone tracking well for the start of the new season.

After a long, bruising year that saw a host of players carry niggling issues through the back end of 2013, the Sea Eagles have recovered well and all appear to be fit and ready for a big season ahead.

Prop forward Jason King has trained the house down since beginning pre-season training in November and has vowed to make up for lost time.

After undergoing a shoulder reconstruction, the veteran forward has set himself a strong platform for the road ahead, which he has been unable to do over the past couple of years.

Richie Fa'aoso has been easing back into training after a serious neck injury that ruled him out of the grand final last year. He suffered no long-term damage and is on track to return to the paddock in 2014.

After struggling with injury throughout last season, promising young forward Michael Chee-Kam has had a strong pre-season so far and will hope to stamp his mark in 2014.
