Out of nearly 1000 films submitted, David Wolfman Willaims acting debut DARKNESS COMES has been selected as one of only 16 finalists to play at this years TROPFEST on Sunday.

TEASER

Racing desperately against the setting of the sun as if pursued by the very devil, a man sprints through a barren field seeking the safe haven of a derelict farmhouse.

What is he afraid of and what happens when DARKNESS COMES?

Propositioned by director John Marsh to star in his horror short, David Wolfman Williams jumped at the chance to drive to the country, run around with a shotgun, get completely filthy and do weird things in a ramshackle house in the middle of nowhere.

Dave really owned the character and just threw himself (sometimes literally) into the process with 100% commitment and the fact that hes a good-looking punk on film helps, The Idea Garage team SAID.

"He brought a wonderful physicality to the role and his capacity to take in, process, interpret and perform blocked sequences was fantastic."

He was an absolute joy to have on board and were already planning the next IDEA GARAGE outing.

TROPFEST, the worlds largest short film festival, is a FREE event and takes place this Sunday, December the 8th at Centennial Park (Brazilian Fields) and is simulcast on SBS 2 from 7:30 pm.
