Sea Eagles injury news: Saab and Trbojevic

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles will now await on results of scans to determine how long Tom Trbojevic and Jason Saab will be out through injury.

Saab suffered an AC shoulder injury against the Dolphins on Thursday night, forcing him out of the game after 18 minutes. It was a cruel blow to Saab who only returned three weeks ago from a hamstring injury in round one.

Trbojevic, who scored a try in the loss to the Dolphins, suffered a hamstring injury that saw him exit the game in the 69th minute.

“I’m not sure how bad it is,’’ Coach Anthony Seibold of Trbojevic’s injury.

“Jason needs a scan but they are telling me it’s a grade three, so I’m not sure exactly how many weeks that means, but we have lost both of those guys for a period of time obviously.”
