Injury Update - Round 2

Sea Eagles centre Dylan Walker says he won’t return from an ankle injury until he is fully confident he can perform at his best.

The Dally M Centre of the Year suffered the ankle injury playing for the Australian Prime Minister’s XIII team last September.

Walker has been listed to return in either round four against Canberra Raiders at Lottoland, or the round five clash against the Gold Coast Titans in Gladstone.

“I don’t want to come back too early and not feel 100 per cent,’’ Walker told Sky Sports Radio.

“It is not worth coming in if you are only 90 or 95 per cent. I rather come back knowing I left last year feeling 100 per cent. I don’t want to come in feeling not less than that.

“I don’t want go out and let people down.”

Meanwhile, experienced prop Darcy Lussick is hoping to return also from an ankle injury in the round three clash against South Sydney at ANZ Stadium.

Lussick suffered a high ankle sprain in the trial against Cronulla Sharks on February 17.
