Get ready for 'Beaver’s Brain Strain'

Eight former Manly Warringah Sea Eagles players will go head to head in ‘Beaver’s Brain Strain’ – an exciting new retro TV game show style series to be launched online through the Sea Eagles website and social media in the coming weeks.

Hosted by Steve ‘Beaver’ Menzies, the series is presented by Sea Eagles Senior Partner, TripADeal and will involve the following eight former players:

  1. Max ‘Thrower’ Krilich
  2. Peter ‘Zorba’ Peters
  3. Jamie ‘Jimmy’ Buhrer
  4. Cliff ‘Cliffy’ Lyons
  5. Mark ‘Boxy’ Bryant
  6. Craig ‘Hank’ Hancock
  7. Heath ‘Stranger’ L’Estrange
  8. David ‘Wolfman’ Williams

A random draw of all Members who have pledged their season 2020 Membership will decide eight lucky Members who will each be paired up and represented by one of the players taking part as contestants in the series.

One lucky Member represented by the former player who progresses through to win the series and be crowned the inaugural ‘Beaver’s Brain Strain’ Champion will win a post-COVID travel package valued at over $2,000 thanks to TripADeal and Antler Luggage.

The Member represented by the former player who finishes as the runner-up will also win a luggage set valued at over $900 thanks to Antler Luggage.

Round 1 of the 'Beaver’s Brain Strain' knockout format sees

  1. 'Thrower' v 'Zorba'
  2. 'Jimmy' v 'Cliffy'
  3. 'Boxy' v 'Hank'
  4. 'Stranger' v 'Wolfman'

Each winning player will progress through to the Semi Finals and ultimately two players will battle it out in the Grand Final episode.
