Manly Warringah Sea Eagles are proud to announce an exciting new partnership with Touch Football Australia and NSW Touch Football Association.
The organisations have created the 'Sea Eagles Group'' with a view to promoting a holistic approach to game development, branding and fan engagement across all levels of Touch Football and the Sea Eagles.
The 'Sea Eagles Group' comprises of:
- Manly Warringah Touch Association
- Northern Beaches Touch Association
- Hornsby Touch Association
- Norths Touch Association
- Cammeray Touch Association
The relationship is further designed to increase engagement within our local and wider communities through various programs and touch points during the Touch Football group and Rugby League seasons.
It will also help to create an authentic and measurable relationship both organisations working together on common goals to achieve favourable outcomes for both.
Manly Warringah Sea Eagles CEO Lyall Gorman said it was a great new partnership for the Club.
"I want to express my excitement in relation to the partnership journey we are about to embark on,'' Gorman said.
"I have no doubt at all that together, we can achieve many special things and create some wonderful mutual benefit and growth for our respective organisations and as a collective."
Touch Football Australia (TFA) CEO Steve Mitchell is very excited about the establishment of the Sea Eagles Group in this, the 50th year of touch football, which was born out of rugby league in 1968.
"It makes absolute sense for the Touch Football Communities of the peninsula to work collaboratively with the Sea Eagles,'' Mitchell said.
"Both sports have huge followings in the Manly region. Some of our sport's best players grew up in the area – the Trbojevic brothers followed pathways through touch football locally so we already have links between our clubs and theirs, and we look forward to building on those to reach mutual goals."
