Brenton Lawrence spoke to the media at the club's training ground in Narrabeen ahead of the Auckland Nines this weekend.
The Sea Eagles Prop will be itching himself to get back onto the field after injuring his back in the opening round loss to the Parramatta Eels last year.
Lawrence was yesterday named in the Sea Eagles Nines squad which will be captained by Jake Trbojevic.
