The Sea Eagles delivered some Christmas cheer to children at the Royal Far West Christmas Party in Manly last Wednesday.

Sea Eagles players Brett Stewart, Jorge Taufua, Josh Starling and Blake Leary spent time meeting children, handing out presents and enjoying some Christmas cheer.

Stewart also presented one lucky family with one of his limited edition ‘Snake’ pendants.

Royal Far West is a non-government organisation that has been providing health services to children living in rural and remote New South Wales since 1924. It is also one of the Sea Eagles’ chosen charity partners.

The Sea Eagles Foundation runs the ‘Kids with Diabetes Camps’ at Royal Far West for children with Type1 Diabetes, both local and country kids ranging from 9 – 16 years of age.

The four day program includes information sessions, recreation activities and an introduction to new diabetes management techniques.  The children are identified through our partnership with Royal Far West and the camps are facilitated by clinical staff from Royal Far West.

Brett Stewart has a passion for supporting kids with Type1 Diabetes and the Sea Eagles Foundation will continue to support Brett’s camps.
