Manly Warringah Sea Eagles have been thanked for their support of the Walk4BrainCancer event.

Held last Sunday, the five km event from Shelly Beach to South Curl Curl saw walkers of all ages raising funds for Dr Charlie Teo’s Cure Brain Cancer Foundation.

Sea Eagles players Nate Myles and Jake Trbojevic were on hand to join in the fun of this great community event.

NSW Premier Mike Baird and State Member for Manly, Mike Baird, was one of many Sea Eagles fans to have a photo with the players.

“On behalf of Cure Brain Cancer Foundation, I would like to thank the Sea Eagles very much for their support and for kindly organising for Jake and Nate to attend the  Walk4BrainCancer,’’ said Events Manager Kim Morris.

“The crowd were very excited to see the Sea Eagles players at the start and were still talking about it when they reached the finish line in Curl Curl.

“It is thanks to the support and help from people like the Sea Eagles that we are able to work towards achieving our mission and with your support we have raised over $940,000.”
