Manly Warringah Sea Eagles congratulate Daly Cherry-Evans on being named at half-back for the Queensland Maroons team.

Cherry-Evans takes over at half-back to replace the injured Cooper Cronk (knee) to play NSW in  Game II of the Holden State of Origin series at the MCG on June 17. He is the only Sea Eagles player involved in the match.

He returns to the side after missing the opening match in Sydney due to a shoulder injury. It will be his sixth game for the Maroons.

"Daly Cherry-Evans has been there before and he will be looking forward to the challenge,’’ said Qld Coach Mal Meninga at today’s team announcement.

Good luck Daly!
