What is the 2020 Sea Eagles Membership Pledge?

The 2020 Sea Eagles Membership Pledge means that regardless of the outcome of the 2020 NRL season, you agree for the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles to retain your 2020 Membership fee whether this has been paid in full or part-payments. By pledging your Membership fee, you will ensure our Club emerges from this situation in the best shape possible and with the ability to support all of our existing business areas.

How Does the Pledge Work?

  • Fill in the form below using your name, email address and Member Number (one submission per Member is required)
  • Submit the form and the Club will receive your pledge
  • Upon receiving your pledge, the Membership Team will send you your personalised electronic Sea Eagles Pledge Thank You Certificate
  • Members who pledge by Friday 29th of May will also have their name featured on a one-off special commemorative jersey which will be worn by the players at a game this season. Members who pledge their 2020 Membership fee will also have the opportunity to purchase one of these unique jerseys in recognition of their unwavering support for the Club.

Our Pledge form has been temporarily removed while we processed all submissions for our 2020 Membership Pledge Jersey.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do the Pledge funds go?

All funds pledged by Members will stay within the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles.  These funds will play a significant role in ensuring that our Club emerges from the COVID-19 situation in the best shape possible, at a time when the Club’s revenue streams have been significantly impacted. Member Pledge funds will support all of our existing business areas.  

If I Pledge, what do I get?

For Members that pledge, they will receive their very own pledge 'Thank You Certificate’ including a pledge number that is displayed on the certificate. This certificate will be a reminder of the significant role that Members played in helping the Club get through a very challenging period. Pledge Certificates will be sent via email for each Member who pledges their support. Due to the fact that we are operating on minimal resources, please allow up to (5) business days for the certificate to arrive after completing the pledge.   

Members who pledge by Friday 29th of May will also have their name featured on a one-off special commemorative jersey which will be worn by the players at a game this season. Members who pledge their 2020 Membership fee will also have the opportunity to purchase one of these unique jerseys in recognition of their wavering support for the Club.

If I Pledge, are you debiting additional fees?

Members who pledge are not being asked to pay additional fees or make an additional contribution on top of the total amount of their 2020 Membership invoice. The 2020 Members Pledge means that you choose to pledge your full 2020 Membership fees that you have either already paid in full or are paying via the monthly payment plan.

Will I lose my reserved seating or my Membership Tenure if I don’t Pledge?

No. This is a voluntary pledge for Members who are in a position to do so. Members that do not pledge will not lose their reserved seating or their Membership tenure. Members will not be negatively impacted if they do not pledge.

I am not in the position to Pledge, but I still want to support the Club as a Member. What is the best way for me to do this?

The best way for our Members to support the Club beyond the pledge is by remaining engaged us through this period and continuing to be patient as we try to get more answers on the current COVID-19 situation and what it means for our Club and Members.

Can I choose the amount of my Membership fees that I Pledge?

Unfortunately, at this point in time we are requesting Members to pledge the full amount of their 2020 Membership fees. We will keep Members updated if any aspects of the initiative change.

If I am a non-ticketed Member, can I Pledge?

The 2020 Sea Eagles Membership Pledge is available to Members who had purchased a package in 2020 which included tickets to one or more home games at Lottoland or interstate matches. For more information on how a non-ticketed Member or a Sea Eagles fan can support the Club, please visit our website where there is a ‘Support the Club’ section on the home page. 

When will I find out what is happening with my 2020 Membership if I am unable to attend games due to the COVID-19 situation?

The Club is still working through the details of the 2020 Membership Program with the NRL and the other (15) NRL Clubs. It is important that we understand what the structure of the 2020 NRL season will be and continue to review the Government regulations regarding attendance at games over the coming weeks. We will provide a further update on this matter no later than the end of May 2020.
