“To develop the person, not just the player.”

The Sea Eagles Pathways Academy aims to strengthen our pathways for junior players to transition to the NRL, as well as enhance their development as good community members off the field.

Some of the members of our current NRL squad who have graduated through the Sea Eagles Pathways Academy include: Tom Trbojevic, Jake Trbojevic, Brad Parker, Josh Schuster, Haumole Olakau’atu, Cade Cust, Tevita Funa, Ben Trbojevic and Tolutau Koula.

Education is key to our success and plays a big part in ensuring our juniors represent our community in an empathetic and professional manner.

Our Junior Pathways Academy and High Performance Programs are designed to maintain the benchmark required for the Club and our teams to perform continuously at our peak.

Areas of specific focus include:

Junior Pathways Program

This ensures we can provide our players with a broad football education, so they can be the best they can be. This is achieved through leadership development and specialist coaching programs.

High Performance Program & Sports Science

Providing more information that can be used to inform staff and improve how players and coaches perform. It is the Club’s aim to be at the cutting edge of sports science best practice. This includes not only game day, but development and rehabilitation.

Talent Identification Programs

Talent identification, both on and off the field, is extremely important to ensure we continue developing our juniors 'the Manly Way.'

Coaching & Football Staff Development

Our Coaches and Football Staff strive to continually improve to give the Club and the Players the edge.

We also provide assistance to our juniors with family support, transport and housing.

You have the opportunity to assist us with maintaining the benchmark facilities and programs required for the Club and teams to perform continuously at our peak.
