With confirmation of the 2018 NRL Draw now imminent the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles are confirming that they have deferred their commitment to take a home game to nib Stadium in Perth from 2018 to the 2019 season.

The Sea Eagles have successfully staged two home games at nib Stadium over the past two seasons and were set to return in 2018 following thrilling closely fought victories over the Warriors on both occasions.

Sea Eagles Chief Operating Officer Neil Bare said “The Club looked at a number of options in furthering our commitment to nib Stadium and our Perth fan base whilst also ensuring that 10 home games were scheduled at our traditional home venue Lottoland in 2018.

“We have worked closely with nib Stadium and the NRL to agree a postponement of our contracted game at nib Stadium for 12 months. The deferment until 2019 provides scheduling flexibility to coincide with the anticipated redevelopment of traditional home ground, Lottoland, during the 2019 season.

“We have received encouraging support at our previous home games in Perth in recent seasons and with considered scheduling believe our 2019 fixture will be a success.”

With the postponement of the match, the Sea Eagles will not be in a position to offer the WA Membership in the same form in 2018. The package in its entirety will be making a return in 2019.

As an alternative 2017 Sea Eagles WA Members will now be able to become a 2018 Sea Eagles Member for just $30.
