Brown: 'Anyone can beat anyone'

Sean O'Sullivan

Utility Lewis Brown reflects on Sunday’s win and its importance leading into the final four rounds of the regular season.

“The last two weeks have been tough and to concede 90 plus points is disappointing, we’re a club who pride ourselves on our defence,” Brown said.

“But to turn it around and come up with a win against the Roosters who are a good attacking side is massive for us”

Brown this morning said focus had shifted quickly from Sunday’s win at Lottoland to the upcoming re-match against Wests Tigers.

“Obviously the Tigers this week at Leichhardt is a big one, they’re a very good attacking side and they tested us last time a couple of weeks ago," he said.

Although the Tigers will not be playing finals footy in 2017, they’re not to be underestimated Brown said.

“We’re coming up against teams whose seasons are gone but that can make them even more dangerous," he said.

“That’s the type of competition the NRL is…anyone can beat anyone, so if you don’t turn up with the right attitude you’re going to end up beating yourself”
