New back-rower Kelepi Tanginoa today began life as a Manly Warringah player at Narrabeen.

The 23-year-old trained for the first time under Coach Trent Barrett, who says the former Parramatta Eels forward is still a few weeks away from being in the NRL system at the Sea Eagles.

“Kelepi is a great acquisition to our forward pack for the rest of the season and although it will take him a few weeks to learn our structures and the way we play, I am delighted to have him at the Sea Eagles,’’ Barrett said.

Tanginoa has played 16 NRL games since making his first grade debut for Parramatta in 2013.
