Charlie Day will never forget the night he was the ball boy for the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles.

Arranged by Manly Holden Cup team manager John Till, Charlie filled the role for the NYC and NRL games against the Gold Coast Titans at Cbus Super Stadium last Saturday night.

Here is a letter from his parents, Tammy and Greg Day.

‘Can you please pass on our thanks to the Manly players for making memories that our son Charlie will keep for a life time.

Charlie was so excited to be the ball boy and the players included him in everything, including making the time to chat to him after the game. He has not stopped talking about it.

Please pass on a special thank you to Brenton Lawrence and the NYC players, who took the time to come up and have a photo with our other son, Mac. It would be much appreciated.

Our boys love Manly. Their grandfather is Ken Day, who played for Manly in the 60s.’

Regards

Tammy and Greg Day
