Manly Warringah Sea Eagles suffered a 36-12 loss to the Gold Coast Titans in round 11 of the Holden Cup tonight.

The Titans led all the way at Cbus Stadium to record their seventh win of the season and inflict Manly’s sixth loss to be left with just four wins this season.

Gold Coast opened the scoring in the first minute with a try to centre Daniel Brownbill. Five-eighth and captain Ethan Roberts converted for a 6-0 lead after three minutes.

Gold Coast half-back Alexander Brimson sliced through the defence to score behind the posts Roberts converted for a 12-0 lead after 16 minutes.

The home side took a 16-0 lead into half-time when Brimson raced 60 metres to score in the left corner in the 38th minute.

Second Half

Brimson got his third try four minutes after half-time when he stepped his way through three defenders to score for a 20-0 lead. Roberts converted for a 22-0 lead.

Manly's first try came a few minutes later when a great leg drive by prop Jaiden Tarrant saw him score next to the posts.  Winger Jade Anderson converted to leave the Sea Eagles trailing 22-6.

A smart grubber kick by Cade Cust saw Blake Andrews dive over foe a try. Anderson converted to leave the Sea Eagles trailing 22-12 after 58 minutes.

The Titans then scored quick tries to centre Phil Sami and winger Jordan Birch for a 32-12 lead to shut the Sea Eagles out of the game.

Gold Coast full-back Tyronne Roberts-Davis finished the scoring off when he dived over out wide from a scrum win for a 36-12 lead. The try was not converted.
