Four second half tries has seen the Brisbane Broncos overcome Manly Warringah Sea Eagles to win 24-14 at Suncorp Stadium tonight.

In a home game for the Sea Eagles and in the NRL Indigenous Round, Manly scored three first half tries to lead 14-0 at half-time before the Broncos came home strong to take the two competition points.

Manly full-back Tom Trbojevic suffered ankle and knee injuries in the second half.

The Sea Eagles opened the scoring in the third minute when full-back Tom Trbojevic crossed over out wide for a 4-0 lead.

It became 8-0 when hooker Apisai Koroisau showed great vision from dummy half to beat three defenders to score. He converted his own try for a 10-0 lead to Manly after six minutes.

Jorge Taufua gave the Sea Eagles a 14-0 lead three minutes later when a long, floating pass from full-back Tom Trbojevic sent his winger over.

The remaining 30 minutes saw the Sea Eagles muscle up in defence and apply plenty of pressure on the Broncos to take a 14-0 lead into half-time.

Second Half

Brisbane opened their proceedings with a try to five-eighth Anthony Milford in the 44th minute after a break from prop Korbin Sims. Centre Jordan Kahu converted for a 14-6 scoreline.

The Broncos reduced the margin to 14-10 when winger Corey Oates scored after a bomb was allowed to bounce. Trbojevic was tackled in the air but bunker ruled differently and ball sent out for Oates to score. Kahu converted for a 14-12 scoreline after 63 minutes.

Manly Fullback Tom Trbojevic left the field after suffering a combined ankle and knee injury following the Oates try.

A minute later, a loose carry by Taufua saw the ball picked up Brisbane half-back Kodi Nikorima to race away to score a strange four pointer. In a blink of an eye the score was 18 - 14 after 67 minutes of play.

After a few glimmers of hope, the Manly side just couldn't get over the line in the second half and with the loss of Fullback Tom Trbojevic it wasn't getting any easier.

The game was all but lost when some quick hands from Anthony Milford landed Corey Oates his second try of the to seal the win in the 75th minute, 24 - 14 to the Brisbane Broncos
