URM Managing Director Anthony Johnston has been supporting the Manly since he was a young kid growing up on the northern beaches.
“In 1997, when the Australian Rugby League competition was split into two, and it was clear that some clubs would be lost in the amalgamated competition, I was approached to take the corners of Brookie mid-season as a large corporate sponsor had pulled out.
“Ultimately my decision to support the club came down to the experiences that I had had as a kid and the fact that I held the view that losing the club would be a huge loss to the northern beaches community.”
