Manly Warringah Sea Eagles suffered two losses to Cronulla Sharks today in round six of the NSWRL junior representative competitions.

The matches were shifted to Cronulla High School to protect the playing surface at Southern Cross Group Stadium.

The Sea Eagles lost 18-10 in the Harold Matthews and 40-10 in the SG Ball. The Sharks are undefeated in both grades.

Harold Matthews

Cronulla led 12-0 at half-time after scoring two converted tries in the first half. The Sea Eagles opened their account in the 43rd minute through a try to lock Levi Moger.  Half-back Daniel Ala converted for a 12-6 scoreline.

Five minutes later, centre Keegan Turned crossed to leave the Sea Eagles trailing 12-10 before the Sharks scored a converted try in the 65th minute for the 18-10 scoreline.

SG Ball

Manly lock Keith Titmuss scored tries in the 20th and 32nd minutes to leave the Sea Eagles trailing 18-10 at half-time. Winger Jayden Burgess converted one of the tries.

However the Sharks went on with the job in the second half to score seven tries to two in all for the comfortable win.

Round 7

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles will play Western Suburbs Magpies at H.E Laybutt Sporting Complex, Blacktown, on Saturday, March 25.

Harold Matthews will start at 12pm and SG Ball at 1.30pm.
