Manly Warringah Sea Eagles lost 28-12 to Sydney Roosters in a Holden Cup trial at the Central Coast Stadium today.

The Roosters scored three consecutive tries through lock Victor Radley, winger Vetere Pompy, and Zane Blake for a 12-0 lead before the Sea Eagles crossed through winger Tevita Funa in the 30th minute for a 12-4 scoreline.

The Roosters crossed again right on half-time for a 16-4 lead.

Second Half

Sydney Roosters went further ahead early in the second half with a 22-4 lead before a powerful run from dummy half saw lock Jesse Martin score for a 24-12 lead.

The Roosters then crossed again late for the 28-12 victory. The score could have been far greater for the Roosters but no goal kicks were taken.
