The Sea Eagles spirit is alive and well in Dubbo following a very successful junior representative day on Saturday.

More than 1000 people were present to watch the Western Rams clash with the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles in junior representative trial matches at Caltex Park, Dubbo. The turnout delighted Country Rugby League officials.

Sea Eagles stars Jake Trbojevic, Tom Trbojevic and Darcy Lussick added to the occasion by watching the trials and meeting keen rugby league fans in between taking part in presentations.

Manly’s campaign in the NSWRL junior representative competitions begins on Saturday, February 11.

Under 16s

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles 56 (Cooper Wood 3, Keegan Turner 2, Josh Schuster 2, Kaeo Weekes 2, Johan Polota-Ko Pu, Albert Hopoate, Ben Trbojevic, Jai Vakai, CJ Mundine tries) defeated Western Rams 4 (Harry Hopkins try)

Western Rams player of the match: James “Buster” Nelson (Dubbo)

Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles player of the match: Jai Vakai

Under 18s

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles 40 (Max Lehmann 2, Simi Afeaki 2, Dane Oolstondorp, Debraska Rikiriki, Z Matthes-Matthews, Ben Gleeson, Logan Humphries, Tremaine Terzis tries) defeated Western Rams 12 (Joe Hobby, Luke Gale, Nick Tillburg tries).
