Manly Warringah Sea Eagles today proudly supported the Annual White Ribbon Breakfast at  Blacktown Workers Club.

Forwards Darcy Lussick and Frank Winterstein joined Sea Eagles’ Chief Operating Officer Neil Bare,  and Community Partnerships and Marketing Manager Jodie Evans for the breakfast from 6.30am-9am.

Guest speaker was Nigerian born Australian journalist Sarah Ferguson, who currently works with the ABC as a reporter and presenter on the Four Corners show.

The White Ribbon Team, a group of police and civilians rode from Newcastle to Blacktown to raise awareness and encourage the community to take a stand against violence.

Guests were also able to lend their support and get ideas on what they can do to prevent violence against women and children.

The Sea Eagles and the Blacktown Workers Junior Rugby League Football Club have formed a joint venture between the clubs to participate in the Intrust NSW Cup competition for 2017.

The team will be known as the Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles and will be coached by Pat Weisner.
