Golden Eagles Day

Manly Sea Eagles will again stage the Golden Eagles Day following the success of last year’s event.

The Manly Warringah Golden Eagles Association is comprised of former players who turned out for the Manly Sea Eagles in any grade - not just first grade.

Last year’s Golden Eagles Parade of former players and officials around Brookvale Oval proved extremely popular. Join in the fun of Golden Eagles Day as we celebrate the legacy of past and present players against one of our great rivals in the Newcastle Knights.

Manly and Newcastle have had some great clashes over the years. The 1997 Grand Final win by Newcastle over Manly in the dying stages still causes heartache for Sea Eagles fans. The Knights were coached by former Manly hardman in English forward Malcolm Reilly.
