Manly Sea Eagles back-rower Nathan Green believes the time spent playing in the NSW Intrust Super Premiership has served him well after playing the majority of his career in the centres.

"I think i'm getting more confident in the back row and Trent Barrett has shown a lot of confidence in me and I had to work hard in NSW Cup to get used to playing in that position but i'm enjoying it now and really starting to get a grasp on it," Green said.

"All the coaching staff have been great especially Luke Williamson and Chad Randall who have really helped with the transition."
