Hundreds of volunteers from the Northern Beaches SES and NSW Rural Fire Service will be cheering on the Sea Eagles at Brookvale Oval this Monday night.

The Sea Eagles have handed out free tickets for the match against St George-Illawarra Dragons to the army of volunteers who did a tremendous job following the recent storms on the Northern Beaches.

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles CEO Joe Kelly said it was the Club’s way of recognising the manpower and the tremendous service these people provide to the community.

“The Sea Eagles are proud to provide tickets to the NSW Rural Fire Service and SES Northern Beaches Branches to attend our game at Brookvale Oval on Monday night,’’ Mr Kelly.

“It is just our small way of saying ‘Thank You’ to the Volunteer Services for their efforts during the recent storms that hit the Northern Beaches community hard and caused major damage to the region.

“Being local residents, many of our staff and players saw the damage first hand. The volunteers did a wonderful job and we are more than happy to reward them with these tickets. We hope they have a great night.”
