Manly prop Josh Starling says his team-mates still have a strong belief that the next win is just around the corner.

Starling said the team took plenty of positives from the loss to the premiers Nth Qld Cowboys last Monday night after fighting back to hit the front late in the game only to be run down again.

“We worked hard and we deserved that win. Unfortunately, it wasn’t to be. It has been one of those years where those games slip away from us,’’

“It was our best performance of the last seven weeks.

“We still have a lot of belief in ourselves. We showed on Monday night that we can still match it with some of the good teams.”
