Mona Vale junior Jake Trbojevic will co-captain the Sea Eagles with Nate Myles for the first time against Penrith at Brookvale Oval this Sunday.

With inspirational captain Jamie Lyon missing for the next fortnight with a hamstring injury, Coach Trent Barrett has shared the duties for the round 14 home clash with the Panthers.

Myles has represented Qld in 30 Origins and has played 9 Tests for Australia and his experience and leadership up front is vital to the Sea Eagles, particuarly with Lyon out.

The co-captaincy is a huge honour for Trbojevic, who only last year represented the Australian PM XIII team after being named the Sea Eagles Player of the Year for 2015.

Jake and his brother, Tom, are products of the Mona Vale Raiders in the Manly District Junior Rugby League competition. Both remain very involved with their family at the Raiders.

Post your congratulations messages to Jake here on our Facebook page.
