Description -

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles player Dylan Walker has today been named in the NSW State of Origin squad to play Queensland.

Walker has been named in a 19 man squad for the Blues and his selection is a fine reward for his strong performances in his first season at the Sea Eagles.

It will be the first time Walker has represented NSW after previously playing four Test matches for Australia in 2014 as well as representing City Origin in the same year.

The match will be played at ANZ Stadium on Wednesday, June 1.

Walker has scored three tries in 11 games for the Sea Eagles this season, 10 of which were at five-eighth before Manly Coach Trent Barrett shifted him back to his traditional role of centre against Cronulla Sharks on Saturday night.

He has now played 73 games in the NRL.
