Dan Ferris, the new NRL Head of Physical Performance at the Sea Eagles, has received a strong endorsement from Coach Trent Barrett.

Ferris previously worked as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Gold Coast Titans. He has also worked with Barrett as the Head Trainer for the Country Rugby League team.

“Dan is the best at what he does. We had to fight very hard to get him away from the Titans and there were also six or seven clubs that were chasing him,’’ Barrett said.

“I’m very lucky to be able to have Dan. He has put together a really good program for us from a physical point of view. It is hard and is a little bit of a shock to some of the players who have been here in the past.

“Dan is extremely important and I can trust him. He is a very loyal bloke and he is ultra-smart and knows his job.”
