Daly Cherry-Evans spoke to the media at the Sea Eagles 70th Year Anniversary launch on Wednesday.

The Manly Warringah half-back believes the Club has added plenty of depth and quality to the side.

"I feel as though the depth we have in our forward pack, we will be able to sustain a lot of pressure and fight a bit of fire with fire with some of those leading sides," Cherry-Evans said.

Cherry-Evans underwent shoulder surgery at the end of last season and is confident he will be able to return to full pre-season training by late December.

"Contact wise I wont be able to return until post Christamas, but I might be able to train with the team leading up to the break,’’ Cherry-Evans said.

“It is definitely a focus of mine. It’s hard seeing the boys running around out there and passing the footy, it's the one thing I enjoy most but it's also the one thing I can't do at the moment.”
