Manly Warringah Sea Eagles are set to play in front of a bumper crowd at Central Coast Stadium this Saturday night if early ticket sales are an indication.

The Sea Eagles will clash with premiership heavyweights and competition leaders the Brisbane Broncos this Saturday night at 7.30pm in round 21 of the Telstra Premiership.

Kath Casey, Gosford City Council’s Manager of Central Coast Stadium, said the match has already attracted very strong pre-sales.

“Central Coast locals love their NRL and a big occasion, and early indications are that this will be one of the biggest NRL sporting events in recent history at the Stadium,’’ she said.

Ms Casey encouraged fans thinking about attending to pre-purchase their tickets.

“The easiest way for supporters to ensure they get the best possible seats is to pre-purchase tickets online through Ticketek. Those pre-purchasing also receive a discount on ticket prices and avoid any queues at the ticket box on the night. There are plenty of great seats still available,’’ she added.

Captain Jamie Lyon called on Central Coast sports fans to attend what is shaping up as one of the best games of the season.

“The Broncos are on top of the ladder and feature a star studded line up of Queensland players. What better way to test yourself than by playing against the best in the competition,’’ Lyon said.

“We’d love to see the local sports fans get behind us by coming to the game and give the Broncos a warm Central Coast welcome.”

Sea Eagles Coach Geoff Toovey and his players will be very determined to produce a strong showing to keep their Finals hopes alive. It is expected that plenty of Manly Warringah members and supporters will travel to the Central Coast for the game.

It will be the first time the Sea Eagles and Broncos have clashed at Central Coast Stadium. History shows the Sea Eagles enjoy playing at the venue, having won 12 of their 15 matches played at the ground since 2002.

The Round 21 match will see the Sea Eagles wear their Daredevil jersey as part of the NRL Super Hero Round. To celebrate NRL Super Hero Round, there’ll be plenty of fun activities for the young and young at heart, including 5,000 free Marvel Super Hero Masks and some great Marvel prizes to be won.
