The Sea Eagles return to Brookvale Oval tonight as they look to extract revenge over the Panthers after the mountain men triumphed 22-12 in Round 6 of the NRL this year.
With Manly missing inspirational leaders in Brett Stewart and Jamie Lyon in that match, Penrith were simply too good on the day. This time around will be a lot different and the home side have welcomed back some key players since that defeat.
The Sea Eagles have won their past two games in succession and at the moment the Silvertails are not playing like a side that sits just above the bottom of the ladder.
Last week, the Northern Beaches side were simply too strong for the Newcastle Knights, dismantling the Novocastrians 30-10, Daly Cherry-Evans and Brett Stewart in particular playing well.
Meanwhile Penrith succumbed to the Broncos in the last round in a low scoring 8-5 occasion at Suncorp Stadium. The Panthers will be looking to bounce back but they will be facing a much stronger Sea Eagles outfit to the one they faced back in Round 6.
The home side will be boosted by the return of Steve Matai from suspension while Peta Hiku will push to the wing in place of David Williams.
Josh Starling is a late withdrawal for the Silvertails after the young forward suffered an ankle sprain in training during the week. James Hasson comes into the side in place of the former Souths Prop.
The mountain men receive a big boost with the return of star hooker James Segeyaro. His return means Isaac John drops out while Tyrone Peachey's two-game suspension sees Sika Manu return on the bench.
