Manly Warringah Sea Eagles are pleased to announce the signing of Australian Test forward Nate Myles on a three-year contract.

Myles will join the Sea Eagles from 2016 after finishing his commitments with the Gold Coast Titans and will call Brookvale home until the end of the 2018 season.

“I have been extremely humbled by this overall experience and I would like to thank all the clubs that showed interest in having me join them,’’ Myles said.

“The decision to leave our home (Gold Coast) was difficult, however Manly is a beautiful part of the world which provides both (wife) Tessa and I the opportunity to continue to develop our careers, relationship and family.

“An important factor in my decision was to play alongside champion players like Jamie Lyon and co who have created a winning culture within the northern beaches club.

“I will now focus on my role as Captain of the Gold Coast Titans to ensure my final year in Titans colours is a successful one.

Manly Warringah Head Coach Geoff Toovey welcomed the announcement of Myles’ signing.

“Nate is a quality player with tremendous experience at Club, State and Test representative level,’’ Toovey said.

“His experience and leadership skills in the front and back-rows will be a valuable asset to some of our talented young forwards including Jake Trbojevic, Josh Starling and Blake Leary to name a few.

“We are very much looking forward to having Nate join our Club next season.”

Sea Eagles CEO, Joe Kelly, stated that the signing of Nate is a significant announcement for the Club.

“To have someone of Nate’s impeccable credentials join our Club for the next three years is a real coup,’’ Kelly said.

“Nate’s extensive representative experience with both the Kangaroos and the record setting Queensland State of Origin team will benefit our emerging and exciting playing roster.

“We look forward to welcoming Nate and Tessa to the Sea Eagles family from 1 November 2015”.
