Josh Starling has been named to play his first game of the NRL season after recovering from a medial injury sustained prior to round one.

The prop's inclusion sees Ligi Sao slip off the bench, while the only other change to the Sea Eagles side named on Tuesday is Brayden Wiliame in for the injured Steve Matai.

Matai was a late withdrawl with a shoulder injury after failing to get through a fitness test yesterday.
