In a year where he brought up his 100th first grade game,  Daly Cherry-Evans played an integral part in Manly’s charge to second spot on the competition ladder at the end of the regular season.

DCE represented Australia in the ANZAC test back in early May before given his first start as State of Origin halfback for the Maroons by Mal Meninga.

If that isn’t enough, impressive club form culminated in him winning the Dally M halfback of the year for the first time.

This year Cherry Evans recorded 15 try assists, six line break assists and 10 line breaks, which highlights the value he adds to the Manly’s football side.

One of his most memorable games was in round eight against the Canberra Raiders at Brookvale Oval, where he single handedly tore Ricky Stuart’s men apart.  He recorded three line breaks, two line breaks assists and had a hand in seven tries to put in one of the most memorable performances in recent times.

His combination with New Zealand five-eighth Kieran Foran is one that many good judges rate the best in the competition and it is only going to get better as time goes on.
