He’s one of Manly’s favourite sons and this Saturday night Brett Stewart will play his 200th NRL game for the maroon and white.

Stewart will celebrate the milestone in Manly’s biggest match of the season as they take on the Bulldogs in sudden death football at Allianz Stadium.

One of Manly’s favourite sons, Stewart still has to pinch himself to believe it.

“It’s a great club, very historic,” Stewart said.

“If someone had told me 10-12 years ago that I’d play 200 games I probably wouldn’t have believed them. I feel very honoured.

“I probably should be [on more than 200 games]. I’ve had a few injuries but I suppose that’s rugby league, everyone has their own story and their own injury. I’m just grateful to make 200.

“It’s an elimination final but also playing my 200th so I’m very excited for both occasions.”
