After the disappointment of last Sunday’s shock loss to the Tigers, the Sea Eagles will be out to turn the screws as they face the in-form Sharks at Brookvale Oval.

Out-muscled and out-enthused last Sunday, the Sea Eagles were blown off the park by the Tigers, leaking in 26 unanswered points in a performance rarely seen by Geoff Toovey’s men.

But have no doubt, the Sea Eagles will not allow a repeat of last week’s performance as they vow to lift against Cronulla.

The Sharks travel to Brookvale full of confidence after recording their first win last week against the Warriors.

The return of halfback Jeff Robson allowed halves partner Todd Carney to roam freely as the No.7 helped steer his side to victory in his first match this season.

The Sea Eagles are well aware of the danger the Cronulla halves pairing can produce, with winger Jorge Taufua underlining the importance of having Carney and Robson on the field together for the Sharks.

"With Robson back in their side, it's definitely their best halves pairing so we'll have to watch out for them."

Manly's recent record against the Sharks is impressive, winning eight of their last nine matches - including all their meetings at Brookvale Oval.

Cronulla have stuck with a winning formula with coach Peter Sharp naming an unchanged line up, while the Sea Eagles could welcome back Jorge Taufua despite the winger not being named.
