The Sea Eagles touched down in Auckland yesterday ahead of the inagural Nines tournament. They visited the junior rugby league club of Richmond Rovers, where our very own Steve 'Skivi' Matai played his junior football.

After arriving across the ditch, the Sea Eagles checked in to their hotel before enjoying a wonderful day out at Richmond Rovers Rugby League Club. They were greeted by hundreds of locals who where honoured and amazed at meeting some of their rugby league idols.

The team were also welcomed with traditional Maori dances, including the Haka. They signed autographs and even got amongst the dancing action themselves as Jorge Taufua, Delroy Berryman, Tom Symonds and Daly Cherry-Evans went head-to-head, displaying their 'talents' on the dance floor.

It was a special afternoon for everyone involved and one that both the Richmond Rovers and Manly Warringah Sea Eagles will remember for a long time.
