Wolfman bares his chin for charity

David Williams will have to ditch the Wolfman monicker for the rest of pre-season after shaving off his iconic facial hair for charity.
The Sea Eagles fan favourite is known for his fuzzy features but the public were apparently eager to see what lurks beneath the beard, voting for Williams to lose it in the Nivea For Men "Shave It or Save It" campaign to raise funds for the Black Dog Institute.
It's the second year running Williams has lost his follicles for the cause but that doesn't make their parting any easier for him.
"It keeps you warm at night and if there's no one to talk to, she's there," Williams said of his departed furry partner.
"It's a beautiful thing. It's definitely left a big hole, not only on my face but in my life."
But while Williams might feel exposed and vulnerable without the beard, he knows at least one person will be happy to see his clean-shaven face.
"Mum says, 'why would you live with yourself with that God-awful thing stuck on your face?' She's even gone so far as reverse psychology - 'It's great, I love it'," Williams said.
"This is her Christmas present."
